Class of 2022
Yearbook
Gertrude Hawk Candy Sale

In early September, we will start our annual Gertrude Hawk candy bar sale. All seniors are required to sell two boxes of chocolate for the 2022 yearbook. Seniors have two months to sell the candy and submit payment to the school.

If your senior chooses not to sell chocolate, your student must pay a fundraising fee of $50 for the yearbook. Checks for the fee should be made payable to DHS Student Activities Fund.

All seniors must complete the fundraising form in their Class of 2022 Google Classroom Page (their Homeroom Google Classroom Page) by August 10 to let the school know if they will be selling chocolate or paying the $50 fee in lieu of participating in the fundraiser. Additionally, seniors may select whether they would like to sell assorted boxes of chocolate or a box with a single flavor. If students do not complete the fundraising form by August 10, candy will be ordered for them and they will be responsible for selling the chocolate bars.

If you have any questions about our first fundraiser, please email yearbook@dunmoreschooldistrict.net or call the main office at 570-346-2043.

Yearbook Photos
Rich Banick Photography, the District’s contracted yearbook photographer, will be providing all photographs for the 2022 yearbook. Please call his studio at 570-344-7053 to make an appointment. If you are not interested in a custom studio session, there are in-studio quick take sessions available during the summer or an in-school quick take session available during underclassman photo day in November. Seniors may submit any photo taken by a professional photographer for the yearbook. However, only portraits taken by Rich Banick will be on the class composite that hangs in the halls of Dunmore High School. Therefore, all seniors are encouraged to have at least one photograph taken by Rich Banick Photography so that they will be included on the class composite. If another photographer is taking your official senior portrait, please consider scheduling a quick take session at Rich Banick’s studio. When selecting yearbook photos, please be advised that all senior portraits for the 2022 yearbook must be vertical poses without any visible piercings or props. All senior photos must be submitted electronically by March.

To summarize, here are the senior photo options:
Option #1.  Rich Banick Photography—Your senior’s photo will automatically be submitted to Dunmore High School and will appear in the yearbook and on the class composite.
Option #2.  Rich Banick Photography & Alternative Photographer—Your senior’s photo taken by an alternative
photographer must be submitted electronically for the yearbook. Your Rich Banick photo will
automatically be submitted to Dunmore High School for the class composite.
Option #3.  Alternative Photographer Only—Your senior’s photo taken by an alternative photographer must be submitted electronically for the yearbook. Your senior will not be included on the class composite.
Option #4.  Camera Shy—Your senior will appear in the “Camera Shy” section of the yearbook and will not be included on the class composite.
